I fell in love with ceramics doing adult education courses many decades ago, and continued to get my hands into clay whenever possible. In recent years I’ve had more time to develop my skills and experiment with different techniques and effects. I've just moved into a new studio, at Alexandra Arts in Rugby, (https://artatthealex.com) and the journey continues!
All of my work is hand built, with a focus on surface decoration, using layers of different clays and coloured slip and fairly minimal glazing. Each piece is individual and unique.
